We needed a space for some much needed rest and recuperation. This was definitely it. We got a wonderful welcome from Helen, with some really useful info and quickly followed by their two lovely friendly dogs. John checked on us the following day given the very cold couple of days we were experiencing. Each pitch has water and EHU which given the 'not-so-great' weather, meant no long trips to top up the van. The whole site is extremely well maintained, level hardstanding pitches, with good recycling and chemical toilet emptying facilities. Some lovely local walks, with easy reach to Beacon Fell Park along quiet country lanes. Easy access to Preston if you want or need supplies and equally easy access to Lytham, Blackpool and some good North West coast line. The view from any of the five pitches is beautiful and even on the full day of bad weather we had, watching the light frequently change on the hills and fells was a joy to behold. We will definitely return to this place of peace and tranquillity with friends. Thanks Helen & John
