Great site

We are currently visiting for the third time - the site is conveniently close to family. The large site is at the top of a small hill on flat ground, and is approached past the owners' bungalow. The approach road past the bungalow is fairly steep, and we keep going until we have reached the field behind, for fear that stopping we might not easily get going again. The field is kept well mown, and the pitches are widely spaced with electric hook up points and water taps. A track leads around a tree from the approach road, so access is straightforward. The owners have taken trouble to ensure that this field is welcoming, with trees and shrubs providing some screening between pitches. There are facilities for rubbish and recycling, and the chemical toilet disposal point is first class! The field used to be used to grow strawberries, but other than a large vegetable patch, it is no longer farmed. Cambridge is not far away, the RSPB headquarters are on the road leading to the site from Sandy, and the village of Potton has all kinds of facilities. You don't need a TV aerial, as a wet stick would do.
