Ideal Site for Lincoln
Initial impressions of this site pulling in was lovely manicured lawns, easy pitching with slightly diagonal pitching, with the van facing south for maximum sun.
Site has a handy retired caravan used as an information room ,gave information on nearby Lincoln, and further afield, water point and screened toilet emptying station completed the far end.
We did visit Lincoln with a guided tour of the amazing Lincoln Cathedral, the Castle and the very steep and aptly named Steep Hill.
Doddington Hall 5 minutes away with its farm shop, cafe and restaurant.
Now couple of points to mention, the entrance is very well marked with two Union Jacks for indicators, and a signed well above head height ,but it is on a potentially fast road so care is required on arriving and leaving site. You can hear traffic hum but only at rush hour.
I am not sure if you can walk down to the bus stop from the site without using the main road.
All in all a lovely site for visiting Lincoln and surrounding towns.
