Immaculate!

We stayed at Dunree, for 10 days, in Aug/Sept. and what a wonderful site, it can only be described as the owner’s garden and beautifully kept. We chose to park by the hedge, backing onto the road, and although it was busy during the day, when we were out, it was not a problem at night. It was so warm we had the windows and door open all night. The view, for miles over the countryside was stunning and from the front you could see the sea. Take a bird feeder, there are loads of birds and ,if you wake early enough the rabbits will entertain you. The lawn is perfect, level and with room for 15+ caravans but at most there was three of us. There is a shower room with toilet, separate toilet with wash basin and laundry area, all absolutely immaculate. Even air freshener provided, where else have you seen that? As expected Alan, the owner was always about, working to maintain the garden, he and his wife were very nice people and gave us all the local info and a little welcome pack.. We found plenty to do, visiting Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Issac as well as the many beautiful coves and bays. The quaint old village, Delabole, just 5 mins walk, has a proper locals pub, The Betel and Chisel, were we enjoyed a couple of drinks and for a bit “posher”. The Poldark was only a bit further. Mustn’t forget the scrummy Fish n Chip shop in the village. A lovely site, to which we hope to return.
