Lovely Stay
Spent 3 nights at the Durham Amateur Rowing Club site.
Arrival Friday and the bar was open. Easy check in with a friendly tour of the facilities.
Lovely riverside location.
Easy access to water and hook up point.
Used shower facilities and whilst the club was busy in the mornings I had the shower room to myself.
Great to watch the rowers prepare the boats in the morning and practicing on the river. Even had the fire service on Sunday morning practicing their rescue techniques.
15 min walk into beautiful Durham and great walks in all directions.
Will return.
