Disappointed

Our visit didn't start well as travelling north on the A1 in hammering rain we took the first signposted exit to "Warren Mill / B1342" - you should ignore this and take the next exit signposted "Warren Mill" otherwise you won't be able to make sense of the directions provided. Once there the site was pretty much as described by others - great views but the whole site slopes upwards as you drive in which might cause some issues if you need to use an awning. The pitches themselves were very rough hard core rather than gravel so not the prettiest or most convenient pitches you'll find. Facilities for water and waste were fine and although close to the coast road this wasn't too much of a problem for noise although it can get busy during the day which makes walking challenging. We found walks which kept us away from the road but these aren't easy to find - more information at the site might be useful. We drove to Bamburgh and the car park opposite has dedicated motor home parking. Easington Farm was convenient for our tour of Northumberland but probably wouldn't be our first choice if returning to the area.
