Booking was easy with the owner re-confirming the booking a few days before with a stated pitch number, however this was the only interaction we had with them as no body came to say hello and if everything was OK. The pitches are very rough hardcore and the field slopes which isn't an issue unless you want to put up an awning, in fact on at least one pitch we wouldn't have been able to put our larger awning up. The roadway on site is single track which means you have manoeuvre over grass to site your van, been a larger unit, although we didn't struggle, it was tight initially and having rained recently could have made this worse without 4x4 Dedicated water for each pitch would suggest you can use autofill, only if you are lucky enough to be on the closer pitches or you have an extension pipe. Road noise wasn't bad most of the day but when it was busy it was very busy which made walking difficult at best A good view of Lindisfarne from our from window in the distance was nice and the organic free range eggs on sale were excellent, Overall for the £22 per night charged I feel we could have had more and have had in the locality so when we return to the area we probably would not return to this one.
