DOG OWNERS BEWARE

We came here in April 14. Access is very tight, especially for large units (ours is a 5th wheel with an overall rig length of 40 feet)and we only just managed to get on and off. The site has very good facilities and is very quiet and peaceful. However, we have dogs and the site is definitely NOT dog friendly. Although the owners own a large field in front of the actual sites with no animals or crops, they do not allow access. Particularly strange as the closest place to walk dogs is about 500m away and is a piece of scrub land. In addition, you are not allowed to walk your dog around the site after 7.30am and only before then to give them somewhere to relieve themselves. The site doesn't seem to be well drained and we were put in the worst place on the site, despite it not being anywhere near full, because the owner was concerned about the grass being ripped up should we have to move when it was wet. We found the owners to be less than helpful and we got the impression that they were pleased when we decided to cut our over 3 week stay to 2 nights, we were not offered a refund on the 3rd night we had paid for. I recommend that the owners stop accepting dogs and large rigs as both things seem to upset them.
