Lovely CL

We arrived the day after we planned due to a terrible weather forecast - the travel instructions given are very good - and easily found our pitch due to the board with our names on. Good sized pitch although the grass surrounding it was extremely wet - obviously due to the awful weather we've been having this summer. Lots of info about the beaches and places to eat which was helpful and the site was situated where it is relatively easy to travel to these places of interest. Just a couple of things stopped this being a 5 star review. 1) The toilets are not exclusive use as stated. There is a very popular farm shop on site so on the days it is open there is a steady stream of visitors using the toilets. This also could sometimes lead to a feeling of not wanting to leave chairs etc on show as lots of people using the toilets popped their heads around to look at the site. 2) Fabulous dog walk - our dogs loved it - but again not exclusive use and although not lots of visitors, there were people who I presume were from the local community walking through the site with their dogs to use the field.

Thank you for your review.

Our guests experience and feedback is important and we appreciate your comments.

Sadly this year we have had an unprecedented wet year which on some weeks has caused soggy pitches we are glad we can offer all of our guests hard standing pitches, and additional parking within our yard to enjoy our site throughout.

You are correct on the days that the Farm Shop is open the toilets become a shared facility, I have contacted the CAMC to correct the listing. Generally the usage from the shop is low- although we have had busier periods the last few weeks, created by events taking place on Gower. We are glad to offer separate gents and ladies toilets offering four cubicles and two urinals.

There are a number of other CLs in the local area and members who have popped into the shop occasionally ask to look at the CL for future stays. We will bare your comments in mind, and suggest that visitors do so discreetly, so not to disturb.

We have never had any security issues arise at the CL or Farm. Gower is generally a very safe and friendly place, we do have a number of security measures in place but it's important to ensure personal items are kept securely when your away from site.

Im glad you thought our dog walk was fantastic. The dog walk is not open to the local community. It's use is for CL guests and their visitors, one neighbour (who helps out at the farm) has accessibility issues for their rescue dog, and has permission to use it.

Thank you,

Natalie
