Country retreat

An ideal site to relax on as our last trip of the year, despite yellow flood warnings and torrential rain the field drained well. We've been coming to Robin & Sarah's for several years and as always a warm welcome awaits, this time enhanced by Robin lending his tools & support to investigate a wheel bearing problem which resulted in a recovery home. Home safe and sound and looking forward to returning in the spring.

Great week

We spent a great week at Emblem Villa recently, cannot thank Robin and Sara enough, the site is spacious with numerous water and electric points and well maintained grass pitches, as well as one hard standing. The site is surrounded by meadow and woodland, and is a haven for wildlife, and with the addition of the farm animals there is always something of interest to look at. I spent numerous hours fishing, and whilst challenging, patience will pay off with superb results. Don't be fooled, there are quality fish to be had, you just need time to work out how to catch them! We spent a few evenings in the nearby Jockey pub, which can be walked to down the adjacent footpath, and had a lovely meal in the restaurant, it is also dog friendly inside and out. All in all for us this is a fantastic site, which we will be returning to soon.

Very quiet and rural site

We had original intended to spend two nights at this very pleasant site to visit friends in the very old quaint town of Upton upon Severn. Unfortunately we broke down on the M25 making our way to the site and had to call out Green Flag to tow us to the site. Robin and Sara the site owners were extremely helpful especially as our car could not be fixed for a few days so we stayed well past our original booked two nights. Plenty to see and do in the area and if you are a car aficionado then the Morgan factory in Malvern is well worth a visit. Bit of a scare when we first arrived with car on truck and 22ft caravan in tow as we thought the entrance to the site looked a bit of a squeeze. Do not be daunted it looks difficult but we sailed through with ease

Loved this site

This was our first visit to Emblem Villa CL site ( July 2019 ) and will definitely will not be the last. The site is easy to find and the pitches are flat and have loads of space. Little tip - when entering the site open the metal gate towards you ( we pushed it the wrong way at first ). We were met by Robin ( top class bloke ) who made us very welcome and showed us where everything was. The site is so quiet and peaceful and they do a lot for the environment eg. recycling, food scraps can be given to 2 huge pigs they have and they leave areas of clover and longer grass for the bees and other insects. Their friendly black & white dog is often around and she will fetch sticks for you all day long, when you've had enough tell her "away" and she goes away !! They have a few sheep and a large pond with fish in it ( which may be fished ) and it attract loads of pretty dragonflies. Upton upon Severn is a pretty little place, plenty of pubs, river walks, boat trips, they were holding the very popular jazz festival the week we were there. Went into the Malvern hills, stunning scenery and popular with hikers. Plenty of supermarkets within easy reach for supplies. All in all, wish we could have stayed longer, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robin, thank you for a great few days, Steve and myself will definitely be returning.

Lovely site with a friendly welcome.

We stayed here for a week in October, the owners Robin and Sara went the extra mile to help you . The site is spacious, flat and peaceful .If you pitch at the top end of the field you have lovely views over the countryside and you can see the two pigs who love you to feed them. We would definitely recommend the site, you can walk over the fields to Upton upon Severn , visit Croome Hall and Malvern hills are a short distance away for walkers . If we are in the area again we will return to the site .

Re how things have changed

I would like to echo the view of mrtiggermr2uk, As someone who has visited the site on several occasions and have never encountered any problems. I can only conclude that this person is someone who is difficult to please. We have always found Rob and Sara very helpful and welcoming. The site is always clean and tidy and we love the peace and quiet. I would certainly encourage anyone to ignore that persons negative comments for this site, as I most definitely do not agree with them, and will visit again as soon as I can.

Unbelievable

having just read the "how things have changed " review I am wondering if he stayed on the same site. we have stayed on CLs the length and breadth of the UK with our dogs over the past fifteen years since we rejoined the club and Emblem Villa must rank in the top 5. It is quite simply one of the most welcoming dog friendly sites. Several of Mr Hinks comments make me wonder if he understands the clubs CL rules. Dogs must always be on a lead when on the site and any vans not actually pitched on the CL are irrelevant and as for his arrogance in saying that other members staying are as much to "Blame" (his words not mine) make my blood boil how dare he assume that I would agree with his limited viewpoint. In fact we have stayed on CLs that are part of huge commercial sites with many tens of vans alongside using the same facilities. We have been staying at Emblem Villa for several years and keep returning because as owners they should be held up as how to look after your guests and we cannot recommend the site highly enough. It is spacious even when at capacity the facilities are superb and as hosts Robin and Sarah cannot do enough to help make your stay enjoyable and trouble free. I cannot stress how much I feel you should ignore the adverse and unjustified negative comments from that reviewer.

Amazing how things change.....

We discovered this site when it was new and it was one of our favourites, and we visited several times a year, but we have visited twice this year and the 5 van rule was flouted on both occasions - and while I may turn a blind eye to 6 briefly for change-over periods, 9 is excessive, even if two were on an adjoining field, access through the CL and access to the water/waste etc! What once was seen as work in progress developing the site has, after three and a bit years, lost its rural quaintness and become a bit too unkempt - one visitor described it as looking like a scrap yard on entering. So, in winter it is peaceful, but at bank holidays.......erm! It has to be said, though, that the members who allow the 9 vans on site without complaint are as much to blame for the breach as the owner.

Excellent Site with near Serviced Pitch Facilities

As a couple that prefer to use Fully Serviced Pitches so we tend not to use CL's but this site met all of our needs. We received a great welcome on arrival from Robin who was always on hand to assist us. The site area is large and could easily accommodate more caravans. This gave great flexibility in choosing a location. The surrounding area had two pigs and 5 sheep to keep us entertained along with throwing a ball or stick for Robin's dog. We enjoyed this visit so much that we extended our stay and will certainly revisit again.

Lovely CL

Emblem Villa is a very nice CL. The roads to the site are very accessible and the site was easy to find following the owners directions. The pitches are flat and level, overlooking a large field with sheep, and a pen with two huge pigs. We were made very welcome on arrival, Robin the owner explained the lay of the land, and gave us three requests; number one, pitch where you like, number two, please don't feed the dog (we got the impression most visitors did and she was eating too much), and number, three please feed the pigs; they are used as recyclers, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill. We happily obliged and feeding the pigs became one of the highlights of our day and when I discovered my husband had gone off on his own to do it, I wasn't very happy! The other highlight of both of our days was Rosie the sheepdog; what a sweetie! Having lost our dog in the summer, she gave us a much needed fix of doggie play time, throwing whatever toy, stick or log she deemed was the appropriate plaything that day. The site is located near to many local attractions. We spent a lovely sunny day at the National Trusts Croome, a Stately home with magnificent grounds created by Capability Brown. We also visited nearby Upton on Severn which has many good pubs, some of which are right on the river. Both of these are only a few minutes drive away from the site. If you want a no-frills site with a warm welcome in a good location, look no further. We will definitely be returning.
