Gem of a site

Excellent all round site we stayed at this site for a week & we received a good welcome told to pitch where ever we wanted to on the field & there is very good dog walks from the site, all the animals on the site were friendly to.We hope to go back there sometime soon.

Ideal Location

This is the second time that we have come to this site. Robin and Sara make you so welcome. Nothing was to much trouble. The layout is excellent and it is great to feed your scraps to the pigs. We must remember to take our binoculars and bird book with us next time as we heard sounds that we had not heard before. A lovely location and will definately be back.

Summer holiday.

Stayed in during my school holiday. Had rung to book before hand and Robin was very helpful on the phone. Arrived to Robin cutting the grass which was lovely as meant the pitch we choose was nice and short. Nice to see animals there and had lots of fun feeding the pigs. Plenty of dog walks near by,. Had some fun visiting places. Robin and Sara were very helpful and could not do enough to help if there was a problem. Could only hear the M5 if wind was blowing in the wrong direction but then it was not intrusive at all. For a site that has not been going long it has a lot to offer. Thank you Robin and Sara for having us. Sarah, Craig and Pippa (the dog).

Lovely site on level ground, well maintained and spacious. Only stayed one night but will return for longer as well placed for a holiday. Very friendly welcome and good access.

Great for the dogs

Unfortunately only stayed 1 night, lovely peaceful site brilliantly located near main routes, owners couldn't be more helpful. Nice to see the pigs and horse's next to pitches, added to the whole experiance, I had 3 dogs with me, good walks from the site and welcoming dog friendly pub within walking distance. Great place

CL GEM

JUST RETURNED AFTER AN 11 NIGHT STAY AT THIS CL. THE OWNERS WERE VERY WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY WITHOUT BEING INTRUSIVE. THE SITE IS WELL CARED FOR AND THE PIGS AND HORSES ARE AN ADDED DIMENSION TO BE ENJOYED. EMBLEM VILLA IS V ERY WELL PLACED FOR VISITS TO SURROUNDING AREAS AND WE FELT VERY COMFORTABLE AND RELAXED THROUGHOUT OUR STAY. WE HAD VERY GOOD WEATHER APART FROM ONE VERY RAINY DAY AND NIGHT BUT AS THE FIELD IS WELLD RAINING AND GRASS KEPT SHORT (BUT WITHOUT THE LOOSE CUTTINGS TO TRACE INSIDE THE VAN!) THIS DID NOT AFFE.CT OUR PITCH. ALL IN ALL A CL TO BE RECOMMENDED

A Real Bonus

What a great site! We only booked as we were looking for a site for a single night close to M5/M50 for a trip to South Wales. A real bonus to arrive and find a beautifully manicured field. A little uneven in areas but having walked around the available pitches managed to site 'van perfectly level without ramps. The site owners very welcoming and friendly. Will be back again.

Excellent site central location for local attractions

Warm and friendly owners who are passionate about all aspects of the environment , planting wild flowers tending hedgerows notwithstanding pet pigs and horses. Convenient for local National Trust and places of interest with local pubs a delight for eating and drinking. So thrilled to have found this idyllic haven and always look forward to our return visits

Relaxing location

Great location, just a few minutes from the M5 and M50, but this does mean if the wind is in the wrong direction there is a little motorway noise, but this is drowned out by the amazing bird song! Rob and Sara are great hosts, there if you need them but not intrusive. Flat(ish) field, with plenty of water taps and hook-up points. We enjoyed a long weekend, and despite the torrential rain for one day the field stayed firm, draining well. Thank you Rob and Sara...we'll be returning soon. :)
