Stayed 4 nights at this beautiful CL on the edge of the Peak District. The road access is good and the site is well laid out with plenty of room between pitches. The pitches are on hard standing but sloping so you'll need levelling blocks. It had been raining the week before but ground seemed well drained although you have to drive over the grass to some pitches; all have scenic views and water points. The farm is accessed via a secure gate and you're given a key fob on arrival. The site is in a beautiful location and very peaceful with only the bleat of lambs to break the silence, there are walks along the quiet lanes but you'll need transport to visit places of interest. During our stay we walked around Rudyard Lake, Tittesworth Reservoir and further afield, Wolfscote Dale, we were going to walk up the Roaches but it was too windy.
