Excellent CL, great base for area
Ferndale Farm is an excellent base, a very quiet site despite its location, just off the A174, only 8-10 mins from Whitby town
The CL itself is basic, the ground is an inclined field, water and waste disposal, elsan, that's about it. All you need for off-grid R&R. You'll possibly need levelling blocks, depending how you position your unit. Warm welcome, very friendly owner, Ferndale proved a great base for visiting the area.
There are are some great pubs not too far, plenty of walks for those with dogs.
If you're comfortable being non reliant on EHU, don't overlook this gem.
