The way a CL should be

This is a gem of a CL. It really is the front lawn of Flagg Hall, but lawn is a misnomer as it's more like a small park. It's a true CL, not luxurious, but with everything you need. We arrived in a nasty snowstorm, but Mrs Mycock was undeterred in coming to meet us. We got told off very gently for coming into the farm entrance rather than the CL entrance which is 100 yards up the road, but we couldn't see much in the snow. The co-ordinates to take you right to the entrance are N53.21225 W1.79461. If you have a longer rig, I suggest that you don't turn left immediately inside the gate, but follow the driveway for about 50 yards to the second turning into the site and come out the same way. Also, be careful (and slow) coming out, because the widened entrance is still tight for a long one. It would be easy to catch the top of the stone gatepost. We're on a 26 foot overall van, so these things are more critical for us. Going in is simple, coming out needs care, but none of it is nerve wracking and doesn't detract from a beautiful site with what I think are called bucolic views of the Derbyshire countryside. I'll let you form your own view of the chemical emptying point, saying only that it's characterful and quirky, but it works perfectly. Full marks.
