We stayed for 7 nights at this CL from 27/09/2012, just 9 days after Whitechief. What a shame that 2012 summer saw so much rain and such rapid growth of trees and scrub. The whole 250yds of access track was clear both width and height wise when we were there. Our MH is a mere 6.5m long but we were joined by a towed outfit after a few days. As Whitechief says this is a lovely field among trees on a working farm with horses, well drained, even after torrential rain it doesn't get muddy. Great for woodland walks and just a short walk to the estuary. The town and Southend ferry is a little further. We used the bus extensively, only a few minutes walk to the stop from the site. Convenient for New Forest and Isle of White trips too. We will be back.
