Ease of arrival/welcome

Good location but some room for improvement.

Good location for access to the Hartland Peninsula, and very sheltered sites which was good as it was windy during my three night stay (price now actually £24 pn). Pitches are hard standing but relatively small - access to EHU up a few steps behind and water close by. Unfortunately electric tripped out several times during the stay. Also cottages to rent in a different area which might be useful if you have friends without vans. Usual 5 pitches on site. Also what appeared to be a semi permanent campervan - plus they have a static caravan, double decker bus, and large coach they rent out within the same field. Donkeys and alpacas are free range during the day which means the whole of the grassed area around the pitches is churned up and very muddy including access to the water and steps to the EHU. Toilet and shower pods are a good idea but as previous poster the shower was, at best, tepid and no cleaning implements, shower pod very musty smelling.
