This pitch was advertised at £14 per night (2020) to CAMC members, and as a CL site. When I phoned to book, in January 2022, the price quoted was now £20 - fair enough. I made a note of the booking and price. Upon arrival we were met by the owner, a delightful gentleman, very helpful. However, we were informed that the price had gone up to £25 due to electricity increases, Now almost double the price advertised on the CAMC website/handbook. Also, although we were welcomed, no note of our booking had been kept. Consequently we were not put on the CL site, despite giving our membership number, but on a huge site alongside. There is nothing actually wrong with any of this, except that every description is completely out of date. Hence I feel it important that the details of this site should be fully updated and made much more clear that it is not really a CL site.
