I am just about to book another visit to this, one of my favourite sites for staying over whenever I head North. The owners could not be more welcoming, the facilities are clean and well kept, and the location splendid - quiet roads for walking, birds singing all round, and a merry little river at the foot of the site just to add to the beauty. The biggest vote of confidence however comes from my dog. A short walk up the road by the railway bridge is the sweetest little permissive wood, full of interesting smells and leafy tracks. He says it's just the job for a four legged friend who has been cooped up in the van for a long journey.
