We would prefer no-one else finds out about this CL

This is such a lovely site. We can't think of anything that could be done to improve it. This is one of the best CLs we have stayed at.

Lovely weekend away

Just returned from a lovely weekend at Giffords. It is a lovely peaceful CL, clean and tidy, brilliant views and if you love walking the walks around Clapham , Austwick and up Ingleborough are brilliant. Really enjoyed watching the lambs in the field outside the caravan The Game Cock at Austwick does brilliant food, booking advised. We will definitely return to Giffords.

Best of CLs

This is all that CLs should be - wonderful views, well laid-out pitches, spotless facilities and welcoming owners. Mr & Mrs Close are typical Dales folk - kindly, helpful and friendly. The views (especially of Ingleborough Hill) are stunning. If you like the Dales, here is a CL to head for.

Great CL close to Ingleton

Another great stay at Giffords. Will be back soon.

What a find!

An immaculately kept CL. The work put in to enhancing the CL with its pitch layout, dry stone walls and hedge is of a very high standard and is well maintained. Excellent views and quiet.

Our 1 hour away CL

We have been coming to this CL for some time now and the site only gets better, New toilet & shower unit, along side is a new elsan point, at a perfect height and under cover. Recycling bins. Each pitch with it's own TV point if needed. Pitches are in individual hard standing area's surrounded by lawn. The views only get better to, what ever the weather is doing. Excellent access to the A65 to take you into the south lakes or the dales, great walking for the three peaks and sounding area. All this only one hour away for us.

Immaculate site and wonderful views

From Norfolk, we don't use CL's often, but if there were more like this we would. Immaculate site, owners very nice, views were wonderful, so relaxing, an area of outstanding natural beauty and lots to do, everyone on the site seemed to be friendly. Could not fault this CL at all. Needs to be recognised.

A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN

We had a return visit after a couple of year which made us realise what we have been missing. The site is well kept and have nice and helpful owners. It has plenty of things to do and see in the area. We will not leave as long as last time before we return.

It's all about the location

If what you desire is peace & quiet with a wonderful view then you need look no further. Had we not been compelled to return to the summit of Ingleborough to admire the 360 degree views, I am sure we would have sat by our motorhome looking at the view instead. We will most definitely return.
