This CL is a recent addition to the network and was too late to be included in the 2015/16 directory. However, the pinpoint, OS map reference and directions are all inaccurate. Yes, the site is behind Wroxeter Hotel, but you won't pass the hotel unless you have taken a wrong turn! The correct map ref is 564084. The directions should read ... after crossing River Severn bridge at Atcham take right turn onto B4380 SP Wroxeter, Ironbridge. In half mile, turn right at Roman City, SP Wroxeter, Eyton on Severn. In 500 yds, turn sharp left (narrow) and site is 100yds on right. The field is large and level, good grass which was cut again during our stay. The waste is behind a screened area in corner of field, bins & elsan. The pinpoint is about 20 miles off target! Mrs Millington came to see us the morning after our arrival and gifted us half a dozen eggs. She has further plans to develop the facilities idc with an information hut. We mentioned the above and she assured us that the club site officer was left to complete the entry, directions etc. We encouraged her to contact the club herself, because they are so wrong. Our week stay was quiet and peaceful being the only van all week. Perhaps any others are still searching for the site! We cycled to Ironbridge then Shrewsbury next day. The area is very attractive with low, rolling hills (apart from The Wrekin)
