Shouldn't really write this review as it might encourage too many visitors but... that would be selfish so, what a great CL, location, setting, presentation, access, facilities, all first class and really nice friendly and helpful owners. We hope to revisit as soon as poss.
Thanks for a great stay.
Ian & Sue from Devon.
Super site in a nice setting, very relaxing
A very nice and well presented site on the outskirts of Southwater, near Horsham, and within 30 minutes drive from the south coast.
Good facilities, nice pitches with hard standing in a private field next to the farm. Lots of interesting things to see on the farm, and Southwater is 30 minutes walk away with shops etc., and a big country park.
There is a network if footpaths and bridlepaths around the farm, great for a ramble or a dog walk.
A very relaxing place to be and we were well looked after by Tony, as the owners were on their own hols.
Loved it.
Excellent in every way
Well. It might be easier to mention the things that are wrong with this site, as everything on it and within it are pretty perfect really. The owners have managed to provide just about everything within an idyllic setting without ruining the peace and simplicity of the site.
A lovely clean little combined toilet and shower is provided, as well as a discreet little shed containing a fridge with lovely fresh eggs for just £1 per half dozen, and (occasionally) fresh cakes baked at the farmhouse for sale at reasonable (honesty box) prices.. There are also preserves in there, and the farms homemade sausages (the best you will ever taste) and beefburgers (which I didnt try) available from the farmhouse.
Add to this large & well separated pitches, with one particularly massive and secluded pitch... apparently less popular because a tv signal can be harder to find on it (being a double bonus in my mind), and you have a cl that is especially hard to beat.
Lovely and welcoming owners always available to help at the nearby farmhouse, but whom you never actually see on the site also makes this an especially tranquil feeling site despite the constant overhead air traffic endemic to the entire region.
Simply fabulous :)
Great CL
Fantastic CL set amongst trees, loo and shower, information shed with lots of information available, you can purchase free range eggs, honey, sausages, lamb burgers, cakes.
It has 4 hard standing pitches plus a grass pitch, Bus no 98 goes to Horsham , it is a 25 minute walk to the bus stop or there is a park and ride just outside Horsham the cost is £2 for up to 5 people.
Lots of footpaths from this site, all very well marked, as we love walking we found this CL had everything we could wish for, even the weather was brilliant for our visit in May
Certainly come again when visiting this part of the country.

rural escape
Our first CL experience and not disappointed.
Locating site straight forward following clubs instructions though gateway to farm has no prior warning and your on top of it before you know it.
Site is fully enclosed with fence or well trimmed beech hedge, must be a picture in Autumn as oaks, beech and ash surround the site. Farm entrance is covered by cctv and gate to CL kept closed at all times, but having said that did not feel intrusive, a very relax atmosphere, just reassures some people I guess.
Pitches vary in size from normal to huge. Levelling blocks needed generally although 3 pitches have some hard standing which would be useful out of season. Grass well cut and hedges trimmed. Looks well cared for.
Toilet with shower and washing up sink. Does what it should. no complaints.
Lovely public footpaths run all round the area and straight from the site. Walk to the George and Dragon pub worth it and over generally flat fields.
Only slight negative which may be relevant to some is a bit of road noise and some aircraft noise as its on one of the flight paths to Gatwick. Its not all the time and some may like plane spotting!
Will be staying again in August.

So peaceful
We really loved this site. The surroundings are lovely. We spent one night to try out our new dog with the camper. She had a great time, with lots of walking opportunities right from the gate. Lovely pub not too far on foot, though no food on a Sunday evening. Southwater and Downs Link close by for cycling. Loved it.

Peaceful.
Very peaceful with just occasional distant road sound. The site undulates quite a bit so you may need to do some levelling. Large pitches. Excellent clean facilities with a good hot shower that is not on a timer. Added bonus is an honesty shop selling a few items of local produce. We would use this site again without hesitation.

TOP CLASS CL
Booked into this CL for 3 nights and found this site to be very well run with ease of access to it and the owners very welcoming and informative. This site is a credit to its owners who cannot be more pleasant, and the cakes that are for sale on a daily basis are delicious. Will be back for sure.
Excellent site
Stayed here early in the year and the site was very muddy but we were sited by the owner on the hardstanding/access to the site as we were the only caravan booked for a few days. The site is lovely and would be superb in the summer when it is dry. Lots of bird feeders/birds, calves, horses and a very useful amenities block with honey, eggs etc to purchase. We enjoyed our stay and would return when back visiting relatives.
Great site
On arrival we were greeted by David the owner. He was very helpful and gave us all the info we needed to site our van. He also mentioned the information hut and what they sold on site. I asked about the cakes mentioned in another review. He would ask his wife, what would I like?
We will be going back again.
Thanks for a warm welcome and great cakes!
