This is a great place to stay if you like being handy for the M6 and don't like dodging your way down country lane pulling your caravan behind you. Once pitched up you have easy access to Windermere, Coniston, Kendal, and any other part of the South Lakes. We met the son of the owner who was very chatty and friendly, is there noise from the A road? Yes, but after about 15 minutes you don't notice it. Is there noise from the sheep? A little, but hey, you've booked onto a working farm... it's part of the experience. All in all, well worth the pitch fee especially as fully serviced and I would certainly go back when visiting the lakes. Thanks and every good wish for the future. Jeff & Norma
