Regular stop off site.

Conveniently situated for both a stop off on the M6 and a longer stay, this CL is about 3 mls from Junct.19 along quiet lanes. The site itself lies along a 1/2 long tarmac drive behind the farm in a small sheltered paddock overlooking fields and a small wood. There are 5 quite narrow, but we'll spaced H/S pitches which slope gently to one side so levelling block are a necessity. There is an off road dog walk around the fields leading onto a footpath to Pickmere and it's lake. Opposite the entrance drive a lane leads to Arley Hall and it's Gardens, well worth a visit. There are lots of animals on the farm including goats, horses, hens and Alpacas, which can be taken for walks. There are also tents for glamping in the farm grounds. Although generally very quiet the farm is under the flight path of aircraft from Manchester airport so some plane noise can be heard at times. There are lots of places of interest close by, apart from Arley Hall, including Tatton Hall and Park, Anderton Boat Lift and the Flashes at Northwich. There is no close bus service that M/H can use without as long walk.At the moment, due to Covid, one has to text the owners on arrival, and payment can be made by bank transfer or by cash with envelopes supplied at reception. It is a regular site for us travelling both north and south.
