Lovely views, quiet and peaceful, safe for pets

We visited this site in March 2020, just before the lock down due to Covid19. We travelled from the South and arrived late afternoon, Fraser and Lorraine, made us so welcome, at the moment they still doing a lot of improvements. We can not recommend it high enough as we will be back when the lock down is over hopefully this year or next god willing. Our English Springer Spaniel Alfie loved the site as it was safe to let him off the lead Thanks for a lovely stay

Peaceful clean site

Cracking wee site, loved the neighbours, horses and donkeys. Very clean and quiet area. Dogs loved it. Easy to get local transportation into Dundee and loads of lovely walks around the site itself. Cracking food at Pinecone cafe near Buckhill. Only suggestion would be to sign post site a little better as the two A4 posts aren't helpful until you're on the site entrance. We will definitely be back

Peaceful site

Stayed on this lovely site for 2 nights in August. Very well laid out CL with shingle pitches amongst well kept lawns. Unexpected bonus was water and grey drain to each pitch in addition to electric. Welcome from Fraser and Lorraine very friendly and they clearly are enthusiastic about making your stay as brilliant as possible. Good advice on the locality and as motorhomers themselves understand what’s required in good Cl hosts. Very peaceful site and with horse paddocks nearby and extensive views. Follow directions on CAMC app or call ahead as satnav make take you down wrong road. Birkhill pub is a twenty minute walk and serves good food and beers.Bus stop 10 minutes walk and regular service into Dundee.

Excellent CL in lovely surroundings

Stayed 4 nights at this super CL. Warm, friendly welcome from the owners who provided a wealth of information on local walks, cycling routes, eating places etc and were keen to offer any help, even the loan of bikes which was much appreciated! The site itself has open rural views, and yet is only minutes from all required amenities. Very clean and dog friendly, good TV reception and 4G signal; and we enjoyed watching the horses in the next door fields from the neighbouring riding school. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit this site again.

An oasis of tranquility now with electric hook-up

Surrounded by fields, this idyllic site is run by club members Fraser and Loraine. A local very well stocked farm shop within easy walking distance, fully serviced pitches (ramps required), owners to whom nothing was too much trouble, and plenty of walks accessed directly from the site made our stay most enjoyable. For cyclists, there is a disused railway line converted into a level track providing an easy and safe way for all the family to enjoy a trip through the glorious countryside. Within further walking distance is a bus stop with a 1/2 hourly service, a local pub offering good food, a co-op, another yet another farm shop, woodlands and gardens with visitors center including toilets. I have nothing but praise for this new site that now has 16 Amp electric hook-up to compliment the fresh and waste water hook-up.

First Guest’s on this new CL

What a lovely wee CL,on a gentle slope(I’d advise the use of ramps with a motorhome)nice quiet location with views across the countryside. The owners are very welcoming and knowledgable about surrounding area and gave great advice on frequent buses into Dundee and places to eat. We were entertained by the two donkeys in the adjacent field playing football, their names are Frankie and Bennie. We hope to be back soon.
