Beautiful, Peaceful CL

Recently returned from a 5 night stay at this lovely CL . The meadow is kept like a lawn, with all pitches well spaced along one side. All pitches have water and electricity. We were met and welcomed by Julie shortly after arrival who gave us detailed site information along with maps showing a couple of local walks. The area in general is very beautiful and worth exploring. Typical chocolate box corsages can be found in abundance ! Bibary is a beautiful village and is easily walkable from the site either by following the road or by footpaths across the fields. However it does attract many tourists so it is worth going either early morning or late afternoon to see it at its best. A point of Interest - Arlington Terrace in Bibary was used in the GB Passport and is worth a photo or two. I recommend you try ORCHARD MEADOW , you won’t be disappointed ,,

Very peaceful Cl

We have just spent 2 nights at the Meadows Cl it is so peaceful, immaculate grass pitches with electricity and water supply, the owners Peter and Julie are so welcoming with lots of information about the surrounding area with maps of walks and also what is in the village of Bilbury, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didnt want to leave will definitely call again when we are in the area. Well done to both of you for making our stay so brilliant.

Terrific CL

Straight forward to find, just take care if coming through Bibury, there is a narrowing S bend as you enter the village. The site is slightly sloping, neat, regularly mown lawn. Each pitch has it's own water and electricity supply. Pitches are spacious. The owners are welcoming and friendly when you see them. The site is surrounded by beautiful countryside and if you stay off the main roads then pretty villages are everywhere. Good pubs abound and we can recommend The Catherine Wheel, about 3/4 mile from site in Bibury, for food or just a nice garden for a drink. Highly recommend this CL, it's a gem

Lovely CL

Easy to find, straightforward access, friendly welcome and no dogs, which is a big positive (we're not all dog lovers). Pitches are reasonably level, each with water and electricity supply. Good views of surrounding countryside and plenty of local walks. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Fabulous Cotswold retreat.

Fabulous Cotswold Retreat Stayed at this fabulous well equipped CL for two nights and had the most wonderful time. The hosts Julie and Peter were just brilliant and provided us with local information which we found to be really useful. Julie recommended a local fish and chip shop which was only a short drive from the site to Northleach for our first night as we had travelled straight from work. The site was so incredibly peaceful and we ate our supper watching the sheep and rabbits in the adjoining field and also saw a green woodpecker. After a very comfortable nights sleep we took the very short walk in the the beautiful, picturesque Bibury for a wander round then had a lovely lunch in the trout farm cafe before setting off on a very scenic 6 mile walk back to the CL with the map at hand which was provided by Julie (a shorter 3 mile walk was also provided). Our second night was equally peaceful and relaxing and was certainly not ready to leave! We cannot recommend this CL site more highly, great location, great hosts, great facilities, it has it all and we will certainly be returning soon!

Wonderful almost 'end of lock-down' stay

We were allocated Pitch 1 which was perfect. We needed to wedge the one side of the caravan slightly to get it completely level. All pitches are fully serviced and extremely well spaced. WIFI was slightly intermittent. It is a dog-free site which suited us as we have cats. Peter and Julie came and introduced themselves shortly after arrival and were excellent hosts; offering information if wanted but leaving you to your own devices if not. As others have said, the site is well situated for walking and driving around the Cotswolds. Due to the wet weather and Covid restrictions we were unable to take advantage of the local pubs but hope to visit again when everywhere has opened up. Some noise was experienced due to local building work and low flying aircraft but this did not detract from our lovely break. I would strongly recommend staying at Orchard Meadow. Thank you Julie and Peter for a lovely stay at a great CL :)

A wonderful base for exploring the southern Cotswolds.

This CL is in a wonderful location for exploring the southern Cotswolds. Each pitch has loads of space allowing a number of pitching options to take advantage of the views and aspect. We were on Pitch E at the bottom of the slightly sloping site and there were a few uneven patches but this wasn’t a problem given the vast amount of space. Peter and Julie are fantastic, personable and thoughtful hosts and make a positive effort to meet their guests. The facilities are basic but perfectly acceptable, and although it was out of action the information but looked ideal for local information. There is a multitude of places to visit within 30 minutes or so and there are lots of walks easily accessible directly from the site. We will definitely return.

A very welcoming and delightful site

This is a delightful rural site with well spaced serviced caravan pitches. The owners are welcoming and thoughtful and their care added to the enjoyment of our weekend. We stayed during the current Covid restrictions and every possible care is taken to ensure visitors safety at this time. It is easy to access local towns and NT properties and walking into Bibury, which can be crowded, is not too arduous. We will certainly visit again.

No Longer allow dogs, working sheep farm

This site was taken over by new owners in 2018, still a great little site, however they no longer allow dogs due to it being a working sheep farm. Good central palce for exploring the Cotswolds.nice and peaceful.

Spacious country site

Lovely little site, well maintained and very spacious with a water tap on each pitch, Peter was very friendly and welcoming, the site was easy to get to and access very good, also a little hut on site with information on all local attractions and eateries, just 1 mile from the local village of Bibury where you will find Arlington road, the picture on the 1at page on our passports, also a trout farm to catch your own fish, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break, really recommended.
