Lovely, peaceful secure site

Lovely easy to find CL with secure access. Large level hardstandings with tap and hookup. Pleasant far reaching countryside views. We saw a deer on the embankment at the end of the site beside our pitch. And lots of rabbits and birds of course. Easy to check availability and book on their website.

Quiet and tranquil

I stayed here for a week in May, a mostly quiet site looking out over agricultural land, occasional noise from a tractor working the field next door for a few hours on one day but that was it, a few rabbits and a couple of partridges for company and I had the site to myself for most of the week, the landlady and locals in the village pub were friendly and there is a local shop not too far away, the only slight negative is the road leading up to the village is in poor condition with some subsidence in places but take it slowly and you'll be okay. I never met the owner everything thing was done online and an email was sent with the gate code, there are two gates to negotiate if arriving out of working hours but both have the same code. I would definitely stay again.

Fab!

Excellent. Not going to repeat everything already said but say what a gem of a site. Only stopped one night as a stopover but will happily return for longer. Excellent facilities, welcoming. Just fab. Beautiful, peaceful and good value for money. What more could you ask for. Thankyou.

Our second stay at this excellent CL

This was our second stay at Greenacres CL (late March 2023). It's a peaceful, well kept CL, ideally situated for friends from Peterborough to visit and enjoy the peace and fresh air with us. The booking / payment process is straightforward. Communications from Paul are clear and timely, and he answered my questions sent by text within just a few hours of me sending it. Greenacres CL is well laid out and immaculately maintained. All pitches are a good size, and all are hard standing so it's ideal for all weathers. There's also a large area of well kept lawn, should you want to set up your table and chairs and enjoy the feel of grass under your feet. Security is good, with a code-access gate to the site itself which is behind (but well away from) the owner's house. From your pitch there are views across open fields, and the 'big sky' for which this area is well known. With the price of the CAMC's sites these days, CLs are better value than ever. And Greenacres CL is, considering the high standard and very reasonable price, excellent value. Tips: Follow the directions Paul supplies - or find yourselves bouncing and bumping for several miles along some typical fenland lanes! If you're in a motorhome, you'll need either a longish (~3 metre) pipe or a bucket to empty your grey water into the drain.

The very best site we've ever stayed on

What an excellent new site -I can honestly say that it was the best we've ever stayed on. Easy to find, good security extremely efficient booking system and an email a couple of days before arrival with the key codes and helpful instructions. Hardstanding makes it an all the year round option. The pitches are well spaced apart and the whole site feels spacious. Each pitch has a drinking water tap, super convenient and this is considered a 'luxury extra' at many sites! Surrounded by green fields, very quiet and tranquil, lovely large field to walk our greyhound in. The rubbish bins and elsan point are all well laid out on a hard surface and there's a hut with local tourist information. It's brilliant -worth booking a long stay just for the peace and quiet. Well done and many thanks Paul -I just more sites were as good as this one!

One of the best

Having decided this year to try different cl's from any others that we have stayed at (with a bit of trepidation), we stayed at Greenacres for 6 nights a couple of weeks ago. A very good experience from start to finish. Easy to book, easy to find, easy to stay at and easy to decide to visit again. Very good instructions before the stay and even though we are very close to where Paul works, only actually met him once. I personally liked the way that we were able to "get on with it" so to speak but knowing there was someone close by, if required. The site was very tidy and felt "like new". Saw and heard some unusual birds (for me) from my own caravan and even though we had a mix of weather, enjoyed it immensely. Very good price for the site, and hopefully Paul can keep it that way, because it is worthy of every penny. We will be back

Peace and quiet.

We arrived just before it got dark and we only stayed the one night. I can’t really add much to what has already been said really. Nicely laid out level pitch site in the countryside, we had a a great nights sleep. The only negative thing I would mention is that we found it awkward to empty our grey waste as there is no drive over grid.

Good communication from Paul the owner

Nice and tranquil site, very clean with all the amenities required from a good CL. Access via two secured gates, with makes your stay feel very safe. Communication from owner Paul made the stay easy to organise.

Get Away from it All!

This is a well laid out CL which is behind the owners property. Secured gates for entry (code given on confirmed booking). All weather, easy, secure access to hard standing level pitches with shared water point and EH. No toilet/shower facilities. Great views from all the pitches, outstanding dark/quiet skies at night! Roads to/from the site are a little *bumpy* but taken slow absolutely fine if you follow Paul's directions. There is nothing much to do from the site unless you cycle/drive but that is part of its charm and its peace! Fortunate enough to watch owls, woodpeckers, deer and other wildlife from the comfort of the pitch. The silence at night is really something else! We did noticed a visiting Chippy bus (the Big Red Bus) in Parson Drove village on Friday evening at about 5.30, probably more info on the village notice board about this, and the small store there sells just about anything you need. A great CL if you want to just relax!

A hidden gem!

We've been caravanning for 40 odd years and visited hundreds of CL's in that time. Greenacres is in the top five of the CL's we've visited! All weather, easy, secure access to hard standing level pitches with water point and EHU adjacent. There are extensive views over open countryside and silence you can cut with a knife! Paul, the owner, has really thought through the facilities available. The site is a credit to him. We will return.
