Why stay here ...

'Greenacres' is a new CL set in an acre of ground, offering hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups and the option of grass pitching as the preference takes you.

Apart from the gravel access which runs the length of the pitching area and hardstanding bays, the rest of the site is laid with grass providing ample space in which to relax. Extensive planting to the CL boundary will, over time, provide privacy and security in equal measures. There is also an area of fruit trees planted giving the site a more rustic feel.

Each pair of hardstanding pitches are served by a 2-gang electric hook-up box (1 outlet for each pitch) and a shared drinking water service point.

The main service point catering for chemically charged toilet disposal, grey water disposal and dry waste disposal/recycling facility are set aside and include an information shed with maps and tourist information leaflets of the many varied attractions the area has to offer. In addition, wifi is available on site.

Lovely 3 night stay

Greenacres
Very easy to find. Paul’s email with directions and gate codes was very handy for the last stretch. Super easy to pitch up as the pitches are level. We appreciated the information room and the well appointed waste water and chemical waste disposal point. We were solo for most of our trip so this gave us and our dogs free rein which we loved. There’s plenty of space here. Easy to get to Wisbech, we also visited Ely. Some nice pubs in the area too. Would recommend!

Lovely well laid out site

Greenacres
When we arrived we were the only ones on site, the owner Paul popped over to make us welcome and gave us some pointers. The site is a credit to Paul, the hard standings are well spaced out, clean and have EHU points to each pitch and shared water tap between 2 pitches. The info hut is full of places to visit, and the recycling and chemical toilet empty point was clean. Just perfect for the price of the pitch fees. We found the roads appalling around the area and even worse as you venture through the estate to get to the site, having said that, the roads around were not brilliant with some roads suffering severe subsidence, you would pay good money to get rides like this at an adventure park. We looked out for local public footpaths, direct from the site, but found none. (they maybe around, but no obvious signs). Many review comments have said it is peaceful, but sadly, we were subjected to local dogs constant barking from the houses down the road, all day from 07.00 until 23.00, we also had the screams of children from the school and heard the teachers shouting too. Then to top it all the RAF decided to test fly overhead, we did get some peace on the Saturday and Sunday though. Hence the 1 star rating for peace and tranquillity, (I know this is not the owners fault but I can not complete the review without stating what we experienced) If the roads and surrounding noise is improved then we would certainly be returning, but sadly not at the moment.

Idyllic site

Greenacres
Idyllic, peaceful site with stunning views. Extremely well kept and maintained secure site. Owner pleasant, friendly and informative giving great directions to the site which are very easy to follow. Large well maintained level pitches with ehu and water, and a spotlessly clean area for recycling/waste/chemical waste. There’s also an information hut with leaflets on local interests etc. We even had the privilege to see the local wildlife- rabbits, deer and partridges whilst we were there. If it’s a relaxing, tranquil site you’re after then this is it! Will definitely be back!

Quality CL in rural setting

Greenacres
This CL sets the standard that all others should aspire to.In a secure and peaceful setting offering good hardstandings with neat grass surrounds. Whole site is well managed.Booking system is flawless. When considering visiting do remember that this site is in a very rural setting although not far off the A47 (3miles?) so no commerce on the doorstep.Have now visited several times in our 7.5 metre motorhome with no access issues. No drive over grey water waste point but existing sluice setup adequate for needs. Well done to the owners for providing this quality fenland site.
