Why stay here ...

'Greenacres' is a new CL set in an acre of ground, offering hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups and the option of grass pitching as the preference takes you.

Apart from the gravel access which runs the length of the pitching area and hardstanding bays, the rest of the site is laid with grass providing ample space in which to relax or for children to play. Extensive planting to the CL boundary will, over time, provide privacy and security in equal measures. There is also an area of fruit trees planted giving the site a more rustic feel.

Each pair of hardstanding pitches are served by a 2-gang electric hook-up box (1 outlet for each pitch) and a shared drinking water service point.

The main service point catering for chemically charged toilet disposal, grey water disposal and dry waste disposal/recycling facility are set aside and include an information shed with maps and tourist information leaflets of the many varied attractions the area has to offer. In addition, wifi is available on site.

Local Amenities:

The nearest village pub 'The Bell Inn' is just 0.8 miles from the site offering real ales and occasional food. Alternatively, 'The Oliver Twist' in Guyhirn is 3 miles and serves fine ales and has a restaurant.

The area is ideally situated for cycling the flat land of the Fens. There is also local fishing in the nearby rivers and lakes.

In the summer months there is Stock Car Racing or Speedway at Kings Lynn Stadium.

Tourist Attractions Within Striking Distance:

Just 7.5 miles (15 minute drive) is the market town of Wisbech and March. 15 miles away is the Catherdral City of Peterborough. Greenacres CL is ideally situated for the Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk borders.

Kings Lynn, Long Sutton and Holbeach are all within a 30 minute drive and Royal Sandringham Estate is approximately a 45 minute drive away.

Wisbech has a multi screen cinema and the National Trust has a property at Peckover House.

The Invitation:

So why not come and enjoy the tranquillity of the Fens and explore its many attractions or just recharge your batteries as the mood takes you.

With an extensive on-site information shed who knows what you will find to make your stay all that much more enjoyable?

One to visit

This is a beautiful and tranquil site. We visited Paul's site for 4 days in April and loved it. Paul and Sandra are a very welcoming couple. The site has electric and water to each pitch and plenty of room for an awning. If it's peace and quite, but the ability to,within an hour or so,visit some of this areas lovey locations, ( all information located in the sites information hut) then it's a must visit site. We would highly recommend this CL site, and look forward to a revisit later in the year.

Most peaceful site we have ever visited

Paul has given his site so much thought. The lay out and amenities are first class, the electric and water for each pitch, with solar light is very helpful. (we had one to ourselves so were able to plug in to the mains water . There are easy to use disposal facilities , recycling and a cabin full of useful information to help yourself to. The site is so quiet and views across fields, Paul had built an owl box so hopefully on day it will have a resident, the hedges are growing well and will be full of birds too. Plenty of areas to discover and the RSPB sites are many for bird enthusiasts.Walking along the waterways and the fenland birch woods are easy. We would certainly visit again if in the area.

First Visitors at Excellent CL

We found this site when exploring the club website and were the first official visitors! Paul has put a lot of thought into setting up his CL and the result is a little oasis of calm in the fens. Everything is in place for a relaxing stay with good sized hard standing pitches with electric and shared water points. There is even an 'information hut' filled with useful information on the surrounding area. The site is close to the A47 but we recommend you follow instructions and not Sat-Nav (Paul did make this clear on booking!). We will be back.
