I found the site whilst visiting family in Durham after a week in Northumberland. I just needed a place to freshen up and rest my head, and Tom and Mark’s CL was the perfect option. They made me feel very welcome and ensured I had everything I needed. The shower and toilet were immaculate and the water point and chemical toilet point easily accessible. The field had plenty of options to pitch, and the location was ideal for visiting Durham and the surrounding area. The site was very easy to locate and access with my campervan. There was an ever so slight and distant sound of the motorway which for those with sensitive hearing could be a bother, but it was fine for me and expected given the ease of access to the A1m.
