If following the site instructions on getting there be very, very careful to clock the four and a half miles distance from the M6 roundabout to the Hutton turn as we didn't and took the first turn by mistake giving us a nightmare tow to the site which included a stone bridge on a corner. Apparently our neighbours had done the same thing. Having said that all the roads around the site are very narrow. The site is a quarter of a mile from the road up a farm track ensuring total peace and quiet and has short grass and clean facility area but there are a further two pitches just at the site entrance and six static homes adjoining the CL. There is a good view over open fields to the A66 in the far distance from all pitches. On site we watched a red squirrel at the feeder near the house and a woodpecker on a bird feeder on one of the statics.
