Shame about the noise of road and trains resulting in very disturbed sleep. On the plus side, this was a spacious site with a nice canalside location and adjacent pub. They had several good, spacious showers. Grass could be better kept as, after a night of rain, it was difficult to keep feet and anything else placed on the ground dry when packing up in the morning. Good and friendly communication leading up to the stay but there was nobody on site when we arrived, which was admittedly later than we had planned due to traffic. The other frustration, which we seem to be experiencing more often, was that the Club CL was adjacent to, and shared facilities with another small non-club site, which goes against the ethos of a CL.
