Now even easier to get to and from using Junction 11A from the M1

We stayed at this CL for a couple of nights on our return home from Kent. Grove Lock is now even easier to get to and from thanks to the link road at Junction 11A on the M1. Take the turning off the M1 and follow the signs to Aylesbury and you will have no problems. Don't rely on your sat nav as the new link road is very new. Word of warning - the chap looking after the site takes his lunch between 1pm and 2pm so its best not to turn up between those hours as the entrance is gated. All the pitches on the CL are on grass which, to be honest, was fairly long while we were there. Although the CL is, in my view expensive, don't let any of this put you off as this CL now has the best washroom facilities I have ever seen for a CL. All the 'bathrooms' have a shower, toilet and wash hand basin and whilst you may have to share with commercial caravanners there are 5 such bathrooms and there was no wait whilst we were there. The showers are good and hot and I was very impressed. Whilst staying on the CL I was stupid enough to leave my watch after taking a shower but in true tradition of the Caravan Club a member went out of her way to hand it in and I would like to say, once again, a very big thank you to the lady in question. This is, in my opinion a good CL which will go from strength to strength and would advise anyone to use it if staying in the area. Just book up early otherwise you miss it.
