Super CL for me

This is probably the first and last time I visit a CL and get scones and jam home made, and absolutely delicious, THANK YOU!๐Ÿ˜‹ also Karen is so easy to talk to, felt like I already knew her, she had loads of time for us and suggested things to do for our stay, we visited Sledmere which was lovely but we only did the grounds and gardens because we have Border Terriers, itโ€™s definitely worth a visit, after that we went to a nice pub called the Blue Bell Weaverthorpe, which was a traditional cosy pub which served great food, we also visited Percy Wharram abandoned medieval village which had great views. The Pea Harvesters came whilst we were there but it didnโ€™t bother us, but the smell was quite strong but not horrible, the following night the farmers harvested all through the...they work so hard! Again never bothered us. The site has nice views and there is a fab little hut with some essentials, games, magazines and books which might be appreciated on wet days/longer stays. We saw the resident Sow with her week old piglets, very very cute! I would definitely recommend this site, but not too loudly in case it becomes too popular haha! Well done Karen
