High Easton Farm

Lovely CL located just outside Bridlington, easy access from road although be aware the gate post just as you turn in, check google street view before you arrive so you know what to expect . Stunning views across the fields towards Bridlington, Sewerby and the coast. Each pitch has water and hook-up. Site was kept in immaculate condition with well trimmed hedges and short well drained grass. Very warm welcome from Vic on arrival. Facilities were open but we used our own, I would imagine they are spotless if the rest of the site is anything to go by. Lots of farm-land birds to watch including Yellowhammers, Linnets, Tree and House Sparrows, Skylarks, we even had a Marsh Harrier cruise by one evening. We were also entertained over the weekend by the local sky-diving club.

This is our fifth stay at High Easton and we have already booked our sixth!

As usual, a super stay at High Easton Farm. Vic and Sue gave us their usual warm welcome back, and the week we spent was just heaven after all the restrictions we have endured due to Covid. As we have said in our previous reviews, High Easton is simply a "hidden gem" of a site and it really is "home from home". It was wonderful to sit in our van enjoying dinner with the lovely view over Bridlington Bay. In simplistic terms, my wife Jill, and I cannot recommend High Easton enough, it is simply superb!! and your hosts at High Easton, Vic and Sue are just lovely people who readily go out of their way to make your stay so very enjoyable. We are now looking forward to our return in September. Thank you Vic and Sue !!

Happy Returns

Our fourth visit to High Easton Farm and yet again we had a super time. Vic and Sue as usual, made us so very welcome during our two week stay. We felt very comfortable here at High Easton given the prevailing situation with Covid as Vic and Sue had done a sterling job in taking all the necessary precautions so as to keep everyone safe, and they are to be very much credited for this. We will be back at High Easton for our festive break,...... it is simply and truly a lovely “home from home” and will be back again in 2021 Thank you for everything Sue and Vic Tim and Jill Cramp

Fantastic C.L

Our second visit to High Easton, and once again site owners Vic, Sue, and their son Aeron made us very welcome indeed. We simply love this site and have booked again for New Year and for two weeks in June 2020. As previously quoted in an earlier review, Vic and Sue should be very proud of what they have achieved here at High Easton it is extremely clean, peaceful, and very well positioned, with great views out over Bridlington Bay. All the major attractions of the East Coast of Yorkshire are well within reach, making High Easton the perfect base for your holiday. Thank you Vic, Sue, and indeed Aeron for what has been a lovely week’s break on the very beautiful Yorkshire Coast!

Beautiful Site.

We had a 5 night break at this lovely site in late August. Easy to find with the entrance leading to a private drive to the site. We were made very welcome by Sue and Vic who have a gem of a site here. Plenty of room for units with the benefit of a hook up and water tap to each pitch. The summer house seen in the photos contains lots of local information, books to borrow and CD's if you need some music. Behind this is the loo with a hand basin, but no shower, not an issue for us as we always prefer to use our van shower. The views across Bridlington to the sea are wonderful and at night time the twinkling lights of the town and even the ships out at sea can be seen from your window. The grass was actually better than my lawn at home, a credit to Sue and Vic. This is an ideal location for visiting lots of attractions in the area and we found the entrance to the RSPB reserve at nearby Bempton Cliffs is free if you show your Caravan Club membership card. That saved us £10 for the two of us. We hired some binoculars there for £7 which were well worth it to see the hundreds of nesting sea birds clinging to the spectacular cliffs. Parking in Bridlington can be difficult, so take the Park & Ride. It drops you by the harbour and runs all day. We shall certainly return to this site in the future, its probably one of the best CL's we have stayed at.

Wonderful view

We were lucky to get a cancellation for this site. We had an 8 night stay. Lots of room for our awning. Our own water tap which was a bonus. The views over Bridlington Bay were wonderful. Our dog appreciated the walk down the drive and through the rally field where two resident roe deer could be seen. Hares and partridge too. Near enough to Bridlington and the surrounding area. We found a good butchers and greengrocer along with the usual big shops. Visited Bempton Cliffs a few times with coffee stops. The Ship inn at Sewerby has good wood fired pizzas. The Wolds Way Lavender Farm is a great place to visit with kids or without. Thanks Sue and Vic for a great holiday.

A place you will want to return to

Just had two weeks here and cannot fault it ,the grass is kept short and the views over the bay are superb.Vic and Sue [the owners] work flat out to make sure that the service they provide is spot on.A welcome feature not always available on cl's is the toilet and availability of info on what;s going on localy.A place I am sure that you will visit again ,we are going back in September.

One of the very best.

Vic & Sue I hope that you are rightly proud of your site as were we to stay there. We arrived at High Easton Farm mid to late afternoon from Scotland and were set up pretty quickly on a beautifully flat and mown site. The water and electric services were individual to each pitch which meant we could have our water supply "On tap" so to speak. Bridlington was only a couple of miles away so we had a great meal in the local Thai Restaurant, sadly we had to park illegally to eat there. (Still it was a Wednesday). The on-site toilet was an added bonus and kept spotlessly clean. We had no problems in reaching the site and the entrance was wide enough from either direction. I would recommend High Easton Farm without hesitation to other CL users. Thanks Vic & Sue and also your very polite son who showed us what was what.

Lovely site! Very welcoming

We’ve just enjoyed a lovely bank holiday weekend at High Easton Farm CL just outside Bridlington. Flat mown grass. EHU and toilet. Vic the owner was very welcoming. Quiet but close enough to Bridlington for all amenities. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
