What an excellent CL site. Stunning views over the entrance to Salcombe and 5 min walk from the SW coast path, Gara Rock and some beautifully secluded beaches. 10 min away in the village of East Charleton is a petrol station / spar, with a good offering of supplies and next door is Ashbys which sells everything. Spare camping, caravan parts & equipment, water sports, fishing, shooting. You could spend a fortune in there, it has it all. A little further east is a farm shop with very good and reasonably priced fresh local produce. The site is long and thin meaning you go broard side to the view so perfect for enjoying the morning and evening views. If you have a mains water kit and long enough hose there is no reason not to be fully serviced on you pitch. We had a warm welcome on the evening of arrival by the owner who shared her knowledge of the area and the best places to go and enjoy. Despite some comments below, if you follow the directions given by Ruth you will have no issues with the narrow roads. There are plenty of passing spaces and with our large caravan we had no issues. WARNING Do Not Follow Your Sat Nav when towing or if your in a large motor home. It will take you down some very narrow lanes that most people would not want to go down in a small car, let alone when towing. It’s quiet, peaceful with stunning views and certainly a place to relax at.
