If your looking for a CL with beautiful ocean views, total peace and tranquillity and away from the world then this is the site for you. The site is well kept, good water and excellent EHU facilities. There are no local shops so make sure like us you stock up before arriving, but that's why it's so peaceful. Gara Rock is a great place for a morning, evening coffee, good food with amazing views, albeit a tad pricey. Mrs Froud was very helpful and friendly, after we arrived we received bad news from home so had to leave early, gutted, but I'm sure we will be back when next in Devon. Do not follow Sat Nav, don't even try, allow extra time on your journey as once you get through Kingsbridge the journey gets very cosy and interesting, lots of stunning villages that were never built for cars, never mind your caravan, it's Devon at the end of the day. Just take your time, once through you get to a Sleeping Bobby, (Yorkshire for painted roundabout) there you turn hard right into 4 miles of the narrowest road with occasional passing areas but it's tight none the less, basically it's a single track road, and it does get traffic on it so beware. If like us you miss it and go straight on don't panic, just keep going, Start Bay CC is down there on the left, you can even turn in and turn around or carry on to the beach, there is a big carpark on the left you can turn around in and head back. Yes the approach isn't for the faint hearted, but so worth it when you get there, if like us you look for great views, a true CL farmers feel and tranquility then High House Farm isn't to be missed. Enjoy X
