Arrived at Higher Darracott Farm on 20th June 2014 and stayed for 12 nights. We were greeted by Phillip (owner) and discussed where to pitch. Field is lawned and easy to access. Lovely views and with such a relaxed atmosphere from Phillip and the location we were in for a great holiday. Fabulous views of North Devon and despite being on a hilltop the site is sheltered by a strong hedge. The fantastic sunsets are a bonus and the wandering band of Hens with their bossy Cockerels Cameron and Angus gave us some great amusing moments. Very handy for Barnstaple and a must to visit Great Torrington and very nearby Bideford. Coast easy to access. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay which seemed to go very quickly.
