WHAT A LOVELY SITE THIS IS,APART FROM MEETING OTHER VEHICLES ALONG THE NARROW ROAD, (WITH PASSING PLACES) TO GET TO SITE, BUT ONCE YOUR SETTLED ON YOUR PITCH ITS WORTH IT.BIG BONUS IS WATER TO EACH PITCH,AND SO MANY PLACES TO VISIT IN THE AREA.THE GRASS IS MOWN ON A REGULAR BASIS.SO SITE IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED,ONLY LEAVES TO SAY, HAVE BOOKED AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR.
Wonderful break
We booked in at a moments notice for a mid week break [mid March] and couldn't have asked for more. Very friendly and welcoming hosts - nothing was too much trouble. It was a bonus to watch the horses and riders being put through their paces. Plenty to see and do nearby and lovely views from the site. We look forward to returning - many thanks for a restorative few days.
Lovely CL
We stayed on this CL as it was near Paignton where we were part exchanging our motorhome. This is a lovely CL with great views in a lovely rural setting, perfect for horse lovers as it has a working stable yard adjacent. The owners are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They helped reduce the stress of purchasing a new motorhome by allowing us to store the contents of our old van while we went to collect the new van. We stayed 3 days while we were trying out the new van before heading for home but will definitely be visiting this site again and staying for longer next time.

Nice spot
We live local so this time of year don't travel too far in our motor home, but this was well worth the visit.
Narrow approach, but you get used to that living in Devon. Nice position and free entertainment with the adjacent horse training area!
Very friendly, basic site (isn't that what good CL's are all about).
Will probably return later in the year and keep this one in mind as one of 'our local' CL's readily on hand.
Thank you .
A week in July
We liked this site a lot. There was a lot of room for each caravan with nice views. Also a water tap for each site - a nice surprise. It was fairly close to the main road and easy to find. Not too far down the narrow bit of road and any traffic coming could be seen from a distance. It was only two miles away from Totnes. Easy main roads to anywhere at all. We enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly too.
Helpful owners, arrival potentially awkward but a nice site.
As newbie caravanners we enjoyed our stay here. Nice views toward Dartmoor. Plenty to do in the surrounding area: walks, Dartington Hall, Dartmouth, Totnes, Dartmoor and the coast. The owner manouvred our van out of the pitch for us and was able to offer extra time when I was ill on the day we were to leave. An equestrian centre next door sometimes has large wagons using the same approach lane as the site but otherwise no problem with access.

Very friendly, scenic and great for horse lovers
Tucked away down a quiet lane in the beautiful Devon countryside. The owners were very friendly and accomodating. This was our first visit, but we were made to feel very welcome.
Our children were given a guided tour of the horses' stables and there's a paddock with horses adjacent the site, with a showjumping arena within view also.
We hope to be returning in the Summer.

Great for large, for wide and for long
We have returned to this site many times, we are always made to feel very welcome and the owners try to accommodate us when we have not booked in advance.
the site is peaceful and tranquil. the views are stunning across the moors and we enjoy watching the horses in their paddock and being exercised.
We have 2 small dogs which are always made to feel welcome
we find that this site is away from the hustle and bustle of the big seaside towns but with easy reach of all kinds of attractions within the Devon seaside and country resort.
I have a large twin wheel caravan which most sites of this nature can not accommodate through either pitch sizes or access. The access to this site may look daunting but is very easy no matter how big your rig and pitch sizes (extremely large).

Unwelcomed
We arrived having made a telephone booking which had been accepted, to be told that old friends of the owners had requested an extra night's stay on the site and we were therefore unable to pitch up. We were offered to pitch outside the site on an area of ground adjacent to the owner's horse exercise area and were told that we had to be careful not to upset the horses by any sudden movements. This even though there were spaces on the site which were apparently reserved for others arriving later. Very disappointing reception. We wont be visiting that site again as the owners clearly give preference to returning customers.
