We arrived at Highfield House for the Easter weekend to a very friendly welcome from Mrs Odell. We chose pitch 5 so that our children could watch the Lambs in the fields. Yes there is a slope to the field but the levelling blocks we took sorted that. The shower room is the best one I have encountered on the cl sites we have used. There was a little bit of road noise but this did not disturb our stay (pitch 5 is the closest to the road). As a working sheep farm the sheep dogs were sometimes out, this was lovely to see as we all like dogs, they were really friendly and they played with us. Our whole stay was great and the owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. We will definitely stay again.
