I confirm the comment below that the access has been widened and we had no problem on arrival. I would warn that as soon as you seen the barn on the right that you approach slowly as the entrance is just after this. We found it an ideal location for exploring the Forest of Dean. There are public footpaths from the site which makes a quick walk with the dogs easy, or a longer one into the surrounding countryside and local villages. The pitches are nicely spread out making the most of the land available. Mr & Mrs Wood were very friendly and helpful. Eileen made herself known to us shortly after our arrival, providing lots of useful information about the local area.
