We have just returned from a two night stay in our caravan at this immaculately presented and maintained site. We totally agree with the previous reviews that the facilities are outstanding and the surroundings both beautiful and tranquil. We had probably more than our our fair share of rain but there were no problems at all with drainage, especially considering this is a grass pitch. It had been recently mown and was very well tended and level. Lyndis and Mike were extremely welcoming and friendly, offering all the help they could. They met us as we arrived in the pouring rain and personally showed us to our immaculate and huge pitch, in the darkness. The nearby Indian restaurant/takeaway and pubs are very friendly and really are just round the corner. At the White Horse, the food was delicious, especially the outstanding specialty Steak and Ale pie and the portions very generous. A little pricey but thoroughly enjoyable. Being able to take our dog into the White Horse was a welcomed bonus. Only open for a short time, the site has already surpassed the expectations of a CL. Spacious, maintained to a very high standard and very secure, we will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to explore the beautiful surrounding area.
