Just spent two nights with our friends at Hill Crest Farm CL site We met both Mike and Lyndis and found them very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Considering that the site has only been open for a few weeks it is well organised with many facilities not normally found on a CL. There is plenty of space for five caravans all of which have 16amp hook. Mike told us we could park near the barn which was ideal. The toilet is spotless and a drying room is being planned so watch this space. As previously mentioned by others there are two pubs and we found the Indian restaurant excellent all of which are within a less than 5 minutes walk. We walked down the road and through the woods to the canal which provides a nice flat route to the centre of Retford which I think took a about 90 minutes gentle walking. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return soon
