We stayed 11 nights. Unfortunately the owners were away so didn’t get local knowledge . We had the families phone number if any problems occurred and the rubbish was cleared regularly. We missed the deer probably scared away by our dogs. The site was lovely and relaxing, I chose a grass pitch even though it had been raining but the ground was good and I didn’t experience any problems. Being able to walk the dogs in the two fields was also a great help. We visited the tourist information centre for the area details. The horse drawn canal trip was a must and didn’t disappoint. Knighthayes and the walk around the woods another enjoyable outing. We did park and ride at Exeter visiting the cathedral and exploring the waterside. If we are in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The site was easy to access with Tiverton close by for the market days plus shops and Morrison’s and Tesco’s in the area too.
