Peaceful Site

Have just returned from three days at this lovely site, we was met with a pleasant welcome on arrival, offered local information and maps, the site was flat, well mowed and nicely set out, with easily accessible water and elson tucked up one corner, being end of November we took the hard standing option, which gave us plenty of room to pitch up, with no levelling needed. We went to see the seals at Donna Nook, only a easy 10 min drive away, also visited Grimsby, fish and chips from the Ax and Cleaver were good. The site drained well, disputed the heavy snow which fell on the first day, we also had rain, strong winds and much frost, dispute the weather we had a interesting trip, heard Owls, saw Geece, Buzzards Swans, and many farm birds, Well Done a lovey break

Restful break

We have just spent 5 nights recharging our batteries on this delightful site. A warm welcome on arrival and supplied with information and map. Peace and quiet , wonderful scenery and a magnificent star filled sky at night. Badgers, deer and many more animals are around if you are lucky enough to see them. Many birds , swans and geese flying across the site. If you have children there is a big play area . Shop just down the lane has a good stock and the sea is 10 minutes away. The owners are extremely helpful. We hope to return.

Quiet long weekend away

Previous complimentary reviews are spot on! Just returned from a long weekend at this very well maintained CL. Lovely and quiet with no traffic noise but still within easy walking distance of village shop and beach. Extensive 360deg views of the flat and open countryside and big dark night skies. Very large closely mown lawned field with a couple of hard-standings- loads of space between pitches- only limited by the length of your cable. Grassed areas- firm and dry and well looked after. Water and waste facilities nice and clean. Owners very helpful and friendly- made us feel welcome with recommendations for local walks and where to eat. Site nicely located to explore the surrounding are- plenty of local wildlife areas, seals, bird watching and beaches. Louth worth a visit too- Packhorse does a very tasty BIG sunday lunch. Would highly recommend this CL for anyone looking for a warm welcome and a quiet escape from it all.

We love it here

We visited here for a weekend in early September and were warmly welcomed on our arrival. Trish provided us with a map of the local area so we could go for walks. It is only a few minutes from the village shop and a mile from the huge sandy beach, The site is in good condition with views for miles over the Lincolnshire countryside. It's very peaceful and relaxing. We walked our dog to the beach, where she enjoyed having so much sand to play on. It was pretty much deserted apart from us. The New Inn pub welcomed us on our walk back to the site; dog friendly and plenty of room. The village shop has a good stock of basics, so no need to worry about running out of milk, and there was a stall selling fresh sausages outside. We liked this site so much we returned 2 weeks later for another weekend and enjoyed our break just as much as the time before. The owners were away but Trish sent me a text on the day we were going to let us know what to do if we needed anything - she couldn't be more helpful. We'll be returning again, I'm sure!

Lovely site

A lovely quiet site set in peaceful surroundings. Welcoming owners who being caravaners themselves know just what is needed on a site. As motorhomers who like to pitch up and not drive anywhere the closeness of the village shop, pub and beach were ideal. We will definitely return to this site.

Lovely Site

Had 11 nights of relaxation from 13th April on this lovely quiet site. A warm and friendly greeting from owner Patricia who gave all information of the site and map of local walks. Brilliant for walkers, good access to the site, neat and tidy, mowed and grass cuttings taken up xx within walking distance of local shop and village pubs and the sea. Wildlife is plentiful, so relaxing to watch the swans and ducks going about their business, nocturnal visits for Bill Badger and Freddie Fox. Will be back soon. Jac, Keith n Betty xx

So Relaxing

Just returned from a lovely relaxing week. We were made to feel really welcome by Tricia. This is a beautifully kept site with great views. The waste and water facillities are excellent. It's just a 10 minute walk to the village where we enjoyed a very nice meal at The Crown and had some excellent fish n chips from the village chippy. Lovely walks in the area and on the beach . Definitely worth a visit to this lovely site - we'll be back.
