We spent 3 nights here enjoying glorious February weather. The site is perfectly positioned for taking in the local countryside and we walked to Ashbourne one day and to Dovedale on our second day with a stop at the Old Dog in Thorpe for a very good pint on the way home before finishing our walk across the fields back to Hollington End. Graham was very friendly and helpful on our arrival and throughout our stay and we were more than happy to relieve him of some lovely fresh eggs and homemade sausage - a real treat. We are looking forward to returning during the summer months to take further advantage of this lovely site and the picture perfect countryside.
