Excellent CL

This CL is down a narrow road but access is fine as it is very quiet and has a dead end. The site is level with all hardstanding pitches. It is compact but very tidy and has wonderful views and near to Moffat. The owner was lovely and the toilet and shower facilities were very clean and basic. Brilliant stay :)

Nice relaxing area

The site is located about 2 miles from the centre of Moffat, the roads can narrow a bit, but with a bit of care there is no problem. The site has a shower and toilet facility although we did not use them. The owner came around in the evenings to ensure everything was ok, we stayed for a full week and thoroughly enjoyed it. If your a keen walker like us, there is the Allendale route that encircles the site, views are great. Moffat itself is a nice town with plenty of vistors. Overall, the week stay flew over and we will be returning.

We stopped here for one night on our way to the highlands, and it was ideal as an overnight stop. All hard standing with grass either side. Easy to get to and find. Large field at the bottom of the site which was ideal for walking our dogs. Toilet and shower immaculate, easy access to fresh water and the disposal point is easily accessible. All in all a very pleasant stay.
