We have just returned from a five night stay at this lovely site. We had a very friendly and jovial welcome from Mrs Davies, who was most helpful in explaining how the site runs. We were with my brother and his wife and pitches beside eachother had been earmarked for us, which we greatly appreciated, although we were not obliged to take them. We were both able to position our caravans however we wanted to on the pitch and erecting our small awnings presented no problems. I imagine that if the weather had been wet, some may have difficulty on the grass paths, but we had dry weather. The bird life was excellent, walking enjoyable and easy. There are several cycle routes around Ludlow, two of which we tried and enjoyed. Ludlow itself is a delight and an easy walk or cycle from the site. Comment has been made on the £15 per night charge, we were aware of this before we booked and were perfectly happy with the three acres of pretty, peaceful, orchard that this gave us. We would certainly return to this cl if we wished to visit the area again.
