Basic & quiet CL

This is definitely a basic CL and you must be self-sufficient as there are minimal facilities & no electric on site and you pitch up in what looks like a large gravel car park. However, the welcome at the museum is friendly (we didn't get a chance to go in but some interesting bits outside and worth looking up history online!) and you can use their toilets which they left open for us overnight. Very little disturbance from the museum visitors and once it closed we were completely on our own in total peace & quiet. You can see the sea from site and there are plenty of quiet dog walks to beach. A bit of a trek down the access roads, we did take a wrong turn so do wait to turn at white gates if you don't want to end up in someone's drive as we did! One of the more unusual CLs to visit!
