First CL site

This was our first CL site in our new motorhome. We received prompt replies from Ben to our emails and found the site easily.Access is through a key code gate which makes it feel very secure. The site is immaculate with gravel or grass to park on, the pitch size was good making access easy. Each pitch has its own electric and water point which was really useful. You pay for the electric , it was approximately £1.50 a day. There are goats, Alpacas and a donkey which my grandaughter enjoyed and cats which our dog enjoyed! The location was ideal for Windsor and Legoland, only 15 mins away. There are plenty of pubs in the local area and we found some footpaths close by to walk the dog. Would definitely return

What a find.

Been caravaning for five years and have stayed in many places and none match the beauty of this place. The grounds are immaculate, the fresh eggs available on site are superb but the real asset is the family that run it. They are really lovely people and made us feel so welcome. This is only 30 minutes from our home and it will definitely be a regular stay from now on for us.

Run by the nicest family I have ever met.

The site has been planned, build and finished extremely well. Each pitch has its own water and electric supply. The grounds are lovely to look at and very well kept. Plenty of space for kids and BBQs. The animals are great too. My daughter loved going out in the morning to pat the goats and alpacas. The best thing about this place is the family who run it. genuinely one of the nicest families I have ever met. Nothing was a problem for them. We were there over the Easter period, and the lady bought my kids an Easter egg!! I was so touched by their generosity, Just one of the many lovely things that they did for us. A short walk away is a little woodland, which was full of bluebells. This farm is secluded and peaceful. I can´t recommend this place enough.

A new family favourite

Having only been caravanning for a couple of years, John Torrid Farm was only the second CL we've stayed at, and more importantly, the first CL with the kids. We were taking our daughters, aged 5 and 8 to Legoland and wanted a site nearby to reduce travel time to and from the theme park. Location wise, John Torrid Farm was perfect, 12 minutes away from Legoland and it had some lovely pubs in close proximity for a well deserved beer after a long day 'legoing'! The whole experience through Ben and family was first class, from quickly responding to email enquiries, to receiving a warm welcome on arrival and the eggs on sale - wow! The site itself was spotless with great sized pitches and a secure, gated entrance. The girls loved the site too as it had a huge area for them to play freely (and safely - parents view) and there were even a few animals for them to enjoy. We would highly recommend John Torrid Farm and will be returning whenever visiting the area in future.
