Tranquility at its best

This was our first visit to this beautiful CL and won't be our last. Carol and Brian made us very welcome and are extremely friendly people. All pitches have their own dedicated electric hook-up and water supply with the proprietors instructing us to run the grey waste hose into the surrounding bushes and shrubs. The pitches are a good size so will accommodate the largest of Caravans/Motorhomes. Between the pitches there is a border made up of shrubs/bushes. Close by is a lovely scenic pond with a shelter enclosing a bench to sit on and enjoy the view. There is also a further wooden  table/seat if you should choose to take a picnic. There is also a glade/wooded trail on the land which makes for a very pleasant walk, handy if you have a pooch to exercise. Step out of your Caravan/Motorhome and the views are breathtaking, as far as the eye can see. The coast is nearby, which is also very handy, all in all this location has it all, beauty, peace, space, yet at the same time within reach of attractions sort after by the tourist. The Lost Gardens of Heligan is just down the road, so well worth a visit.  This really is a very tranquil and beautiful location to take a break from the rat race and stresses of every day life, highly recommended. The only noise we encountered was that of a Combine Harvester in use in an adjoining field and the occasional playful sound of birds dancing and running around on the roof of the Caravan early morning. Every time I put scraps of food out it was gone the following morning.   Finally, Hubby and I are big animal lovers and we were delighted to meet Brian and Carol's two Clumber Spaniel puppies, Milly and Sammy, who are absolutely adorable. They also have a large Cat, but he remained hidden throughout our stay, (typical Cat)  which is a pity as we have five Kitties of our own. They also have two large Horses and three smaller ones on the property. We made friends with one of the larger horses. If you want peace, fresh air, space and privacy this is the place for you, Kerthua Park is without any doubt a lovely location to get away from it all.
