An unusual CL- visit March 2017

As previous review stated facilities are a bit dated. Toilets and shower are unisex but nothing unusual there. What is different here is that site is owned by RSPB so warden has no particular interest in interacting with guests. He was interviewed on Countryfile last weekend and clearly his interest is ornithological. If site is full I feel fifth pitch is a bit sub-standard and may be challenging to make use of. Site is perfectly located for access to Spurn Point ( or island?) on foot and is also next to a pub which does not open early in the week when we visited. We found it extremely quiet after 7.00 pm and not in any way noisy thru the day. If you are in this part of the world a few nights here should not be missed. Not however a good choice for a touring holiday. Much flat cycling available from here but avoid attempting to get across to Spurn Head by bike.
